About Tony
A graduate of McMaster University’s electrical engineering program, Tony co-founded Fifth Light Technology—a manufacturer dedicated to producing energy-saving, lighting control systems—where he handled a range of duties from production management to procurement, deployments and technical support. After selling the firm, he became engaged in a range of technology-focused consulting and software projects, while founding multiple companies dedicated to sustainability.
Along the way, Tony made a series of land investments around the Greater Toronto Area.
Realizing his passion for community development, he partnered with family members to found OLV Developments Inc.—a visionary land development firm dedicated to designing, developing and marketing sustainable mixed-use residential and commercial communities. As a dedicated engineer, his commitment to creating innovative new technologies compelled him to keep a foot firmly planted in the field.
He created New Orbit Technologies Inc., to bring the principles of sound engineering design, effective research and development and transformative technological solutions to industries as diverse as automotive, green energy and advanced manufacturing.
When he’s not busy managing and expanding his many entrepreneurial endeavours, Tony enjoys horseback riding, carpentry, fitness and photography.
